Dear Local Development students,

We would like to invite you to participate in the project “RE.A.ZIONI: giovani capaci di futuro” - promoted by Human Rights Association - Human Development (ADUSU), in collaboration with the University of Padua, the Youth Project of the city of Padua along with other local associations.
The project is funded by the Veneto Region and it aims to encourage the involvement and participation of the University of Padua students in the definition of ideas and proposals for the construction of a more inclusive and sustainable future after the Covid19 pandemic, in line with the indications of the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the European Green Deal and the Next Generation EU.

Through seminars, workshops and hackathons, participants will be accompanied in the definition of project ideas to create opportunities for sustainable action in some of the areas most affected by the pandemic and the climate crisis: the fight against poverty and inequality, work and economic activities, the fight against pollution, sustainable cities, health and prevention, education and training. These proposals, aiming to promote territorial development towards an economic, social and environmental sustainability, will contribute to the drawing up of the Veneto Regional Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRRR).

We invite you to the activities related to two different paths: 1. “Health and Prevention. One Health approach and Proximity Networks" and 2. “In-presence and online Education. Towards and inclusive smart studying” which will be implemented during November and December.

The introduction seminar of the first series will be held on Wednesday 10 November, 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM in Room 2D, via Venezia n.12 (Padua), or online on Zoom, with prof. Roberto De Vogli (DPSS). We will discuss the following themes:

-        Effects of the pandemic on the access to health care for non-EU university students.
-        Health care and social environment (territorial healthcare networks).

The introduction seminar of the second one will be held on Thursday 11 November, 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM, in Pio X, Sala Petrarca (Padua), or online on Zoom, with prof. Paola Degani and Paolo De Stefani (SPGI). The focus will be on:

-        Effects of the pandemic on the access to education without barriers and discrimination.

-        How to make online teaching an inclusive, socially sustainable, innovative learning experience.
