    • The Master’s Degree Program in Social Sciences and Digital Data offers students the opportunity to engage in internship experiences that serve as a bridge between academic study and the professional world. These activities are conceived not only as a first point of contact with different work environments—both national and international—but also as a way to help students make more informed and conscious career decisions. By participating in these internships, students are able to connect the theoretical knowledge and methodological tools developed during their studies with the practical skills and professional competencies required by public institutions, private companies, and third-sector organizations. In this way, the internship does not represent a separate moment from the academic path, but rather an integral component that enriches it through direct engagement with real-world contexts. The organization and supervision of internship activities fall under the responsibility of the Coordinator of the Degree Program, who may also delegate specific functions to faculty members designated as internship coordinators by the Degree Program Council.
As for the choice of where to carry out the internship, students may select an organization from among the University’s existing partners, or they may propose a new institution or company of interest. In the latter case, the organization must undergo a formal approval process and establish a partnership agreement with the University before the internship can take place. The internship has a duration of 225 hours and is worth 9 CFU
