Translation assignment - Text on vaccines

This is your next translation assignment - an article on vaccines from The Independent. The article illustrates a controversial topic in science as lots of people are against vaccines and many parents do not want to immunise their children. As the article is longer than what will be your final test - 655 words as opped to approx. 200 in your test - I would advise that each member of your group translates one third of the text. The text is to be translated for publication in the science section of the Corriere della Sera. To help you with the translation, a reference parallel text is provided: this is an article published in the Science journal and translated by Internazionale. The first 200 words should be submitted by Thursday 11 April lunchtime, so that I can look at your texts by Friday. Then you will be able to complete your translation and revise it. You will also be asked to provide terminology entries.
