A translation may be defined as a text in one language that represents or stands for a text in another language; the term translation also refers to the act of producing such a text.

Tradurre è il vero modo di leggere un testo; questo credo sia stato detto già molte volte; posso aggiungere che per un autore il riflettere sulla traduzione d’un proprio testo, il discutere col traduttore, è il vero modo di leggere se stesso, di capire bene cosa ha scritto e perché.

Power supply cord

A cord is an electrical wire or wires with a protective 

covering, usually for connecting electrical equipment to

 the supply of electricity; a power supply cord is 

composed of an attachment plug and a flexible cord.

The power supply cord is the component that supplies 

power to a computer or other electrical device. Most 

personal computers can be plugged into standard 

electrical outlets. The power supply then pulls the 

required amount of electricity and converts the AC 

current to DC current. It also regulates the voltage 

to eliminate voltage or current spikes and surges 

common in most electrical systems.

Vibration, periodic back-and-forth motion of the particles of an elastic body or medium, commonly resulting when almost any physical system is displaced from its equilibrium condition and allowed to respond to the forces that tend to restore equilibrium. Vibrations fall into two categories: free and forced.

Free vibrations occur when the system is disturbed momentarily and then allowed to move without restraint. Forced vibrations occur if a system is continuously driven by an external agency.  

Electric vibrations play an important role in electronics. A circuit containing both inductance and capacitance can support the electrical equivalent of SHM involving sinusoidal current flow.

The evaporator fan motor grommet is used to isolate the motor from the mounting bracket and reduce vibration noise. Regular wear and tear can cause the grommets to wear or become detached, which can increase vibration and cause excess noise. You will need to access the evaporator fan to confirm whether or not a grommet is responsible. Power should be removed from the appliance for this check.

As we can see, the two terms are equivalent in English and Italian, just in some specific cases it is possible to find the translation “oscillazione” instead of “vibrazione”.
