i just noticed a mistake in the Instructions for the final paper. In the example of the prose translation of Beowulf I mentioned Seamus Heaney, who was the author of a verse translation. The prose version was written by J.R.R. Tolkien. In any case, for those of you who are interested in these aspects, both texts are extremely relevant for a study of the reception of the poem in modern times.
