Dear students,
Please consider this other option to obtain the 3 Credits for ‘Other Activities’.
We are looking for 10 students to help with the International Conference “Learner Corpus Research 2022” (LCR 2022) which will take place at the Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies (Complesso Beato Pellegrino) from 22nd to 24th September 2022.
The conference brings together researchers and language instructors with an interest in the use of learner corpora for research on second language acquisition, as well as for the enhancement of language teaching and assessment.
If you decide to take part, you will be working alongside members of staff to help prepare the event, welcome and provide assistance to conference participants and help ensure the smooth running of the events. The conference language is English, so you will have the opportunity to speak English in an academic context with participants from all over the world.
During the event, you will also have the chance to attend talks on topics of your interest.
As learner corpus research may be new to you, we’ll be holding two seminars to introduce you to the topic at the end of April/beginning of May.
Students who take this opportunity and fully collaborate both before and during the conference will be awarded 3 credits (for other activities).
