City of Padua invites all women to visit Palazzo della Ragione, Musei
Civici agli Eremitani, Palazzo Zuckermann and the Museo del Risorgimento
e dell'Età Contemporanea for free on March 8.

Palazzo della Ragione
The
Salòn or Palazzo della Ragione, is one of the largest suspended
courtrooms in Europe. Recognized as one of the most famous civil
monuments erected in Europe at the time of the Communes, the building
was erected beginning in 1218.Inside, a wonderful medieval astrological
fresco cycle.

Musei Civici Eremitani
The
museum complex, the oldest in the Veneto region, is housed in the
cloisters of the former convent of the Eremitani friars. It includes the
Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Medieval and Modern Art, as
well as the Scrovegni Chapel.

The
Bottacin Museum, among the richest collections of coins and medals in
the world, and the extraordinary collections of applied and decorative
arts, the heritage of Padua's Civic Museums, find adequate accommodation
in the museum building of Palazzo Zuckermann.

Museo del Risorgimento
Next to the prestigious Piano Nobile of the Stabilimento Pedrocchi is
the museum which documents facts and protagonists of Paduan and
national history, from the fall of the Venetian Republic (1797) to the
promulgation of the Italian Constitution on January 1, 1948.
