Dear students,

I'm writing you with some communications regarding the schedule for the next lectures:

- the lecture of next Monday (November 13th) will be held by prof. Simone Dilaria, and the topic will be the analyisis of ancient binding composites by optical microscopy;

- the lecture of next Tuesday (November 14th) will be still held by prof. Dilaria, and it will consist in a practical session at the optical microscope with the observation of several examples of ancient binding composites prepared in thin section. This lecture will be held at the Department of Cultural Heritage, Palazzo Liviano, Piazza Capitaniato 7, third floor (the upper one), in the Laboratory of Epigrafia Antica e Papirologia. The Laboratory is located at the end of the hallway, close to my office and those of prof. Dilaria. The lecture will be held with the same timetable (8.30-10), so you will have time to return back to the Geosciences Department for the next classes. If you will encounter problems in finding the place you can contact me at my mobile phone number (00393938155438).

- We are setting up the field lectures: the first one will be tentatively organized on Friday November 24th in the area of the Euganean Hills, starting in the early morning around 9 AM until lunchtime-early afternoon. I will give you confirmation ASAP, with more detailed information on the place of the visit. In the meantime, I'm already anticipating you that we will have some hike to reach the places, so please get prepared with trekking shoes and proper clothing.

Thank you very much for your attention and I remain available if you have any doubts, in the meantime have a nice weekend and see you soon,

Michele
