Dear Students,

As communicated during the Welcome Meeting and detailed on the Moodle page of our Master’s Degree Programme in Social Sciences and Digital Data, please note that, in order to obtain a Master’s degree in Italy, it is mandatory to demonstrate knowledge of the Italian language, as required by current regulations.

Through the courses offered by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA) – the University Language Centre – non-native Italian speakers will be provided with the fundamentals of the Italian language.

All the necessary information regarding enrolment in CLA courses and registration for the language proficiency test can be found at the following link: https://cla.unipd.it/en/registration-tal/

At the same link, you will also find detailed information about the test structure. To better prepare for the Italian Language Ability Test (TAL – A2 Level), you are encouraged to take the mock test (a sample structured like the actual exam) or to practice through the online preparation course.

At the same link, you can also find the test registration dates, which are required to obtain the 3 ECTS credits associated with the course unit Italian Language.
Please note that registrations will open on 29 December 2025.

Best regards,
Stefano Crabu & Federico Neresini
