Academic English: Speaking and Writing

This activity is an introduction to the English language for students whose first language is Italian, and it is mandatory for them.

The activity aims to develop creative writing skills in English, with a focus on narrating local stories using specific formats and structures.

As students gain more proficiency in the language, working on clarity, cohesion, and conciseness, they will have the opportunity to reflect on how the language is used, its style, and also the potential challenges that arise when translating ideas into English.

The Activity is organised as an intensive workshop (1 month approx.) and follows an ongoing assessment, therefore attendance is mandatory.
