The goal of the meeting is to start creating a project network related to forest and natural resources management and valuing ecosystem services in the region, with the support and involvement of our
University; specifically, on Thursday TESAF will give a short presentation  about sustainable
agro-forest management principles and ecosystem services, with a focus of what our University can do to support the development of a "Pact for the Gran Chaco".

Among the participants (some will be connected via zoom from Milano and/or Latin America) there are colleagues from LA Universities, FSC Argentina, representatives of the local communities, wood processing industries, designers, NGOs and more. The event has been planned by IILA and MuseoVerde, an association that is supporting local development
projects in the Gran Chaco region and want to promote more activities in the area in relation to main "themes": timber, medicinal herbs, ecotourism and handicrafts.

Please see the complete programme (in Italian and Spanish) in the attachments.

Regards,
Carlotta
