Dear students,
We are glad to inform you that the Spring School ExPoSTID (ExPost Italian Diplomacy) call is open. ExPoSTID will take place at Unipd’s Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI) and at Roma Tre University’s Department of Political Sciences, in April 2022.
The workshop is open to Bachelor degree, Master’s degree and PhD students (in technical-scientific fields, Humanities, Political and Social Sciences).
It is aimed to analyse the creation of an experimental Master’s degree which may combine science and diplomacy, through the interaction of experts, scholars, diplomats, and students from different technical-scientific disciplines.
Participants will experiment with some tools to explore issues related to science, diplomacy and decision-making processes, which are essential in a world of increasing technological density that requires a technical-scientific diplomatic action in the face of global challenges.
Particular attention will be paid to Italy, which has developed technical-scientific skills in the European and global context that animate experiences of cooperation and competition in a dynamic diplomatic framework.
The Spring School is funded by the national research project FISR-Covid 2020, collaborates with H2020 InsSciDe (Inventing a shared Science Diplomacy for Europe), within an agreement with the Historical Archives of the European Union.
