People, I am so very sorry to write this message... but today the transports are suddenly on strike, announced yesterday. I was caught by surprise and could not plan (to go before 9 a.m., for example)... I went to the station to try, but all trains were canceled until 5 pm.
I guess other people couldn't get to Padova either.
I thought about proposing to do the class online, but since we would be working on maps, in groups, discussing, it didn't seem appropriate.
So I made the difficult decision to cancel today's class.
The problem is that our course would end tomorrow, and we would already be running out of time with the two meetings we have left -- so I will have to use a day next week (which is already on the calendar as a make-up week). I hope this doesn't jeopardize anyone's plans. I was thinking we could finish the course on Monday, so that would free up the rest of your week. But we will organize ourselves tomorrow.
I am truly very sorry, I was looking forward to this class today. 😞
If you can communicate this to your groups, we'll see you tomorrow and I hope you can all come to our closing meeting the other week.
I'm also sorry I couldn't communicate this earlier, I just got back from the station and could never realize this would happen.

Ragazze/i, mi dispiace moltissimo scrivere questo messaggio... ma oggi i mezzi sono improvvisamente in sciopero, annunciato ieri. Sono stato colto di sorpresa e non ho potuto pianificare (per andare prima delle 9, ad esempio)... Sono andato in stazione per provare, ma tutti i treni sono stati cancellati fino alle 17.
Immagino che anche altre persone non abbiano potuto raggiungere Padova.
Ho pensato di proporre di fare la lezione online, ma visto che avremmo lavorato sulle mappe, in gruppo, discutendo, non mi sembrava il caso.
Così ho preso la difficile decisione di cancellare la lezione di oggi.
Il problema è che il nostro corso finirebbe domani, e saremmo già a corto di tempo con le due riunioni che ci restano... quindi dovrò usare un giorno della prossima settimana (che è già in calendario come settimana di recupero). Spero che questo non comprometta i piani di nessuno.. Pensavo che potremmo finire il corso lunedì, in modo da liberare il resto della vostra settimana. Ma ci organizzeremo domani.
Mi dispiace molto davvero, io non vedevo l'ora di questa lezione oggi. 😞
Se potete comunicarlo ai vostri gruppi, ci vediamo domani e spero che possiate venire tutti alla nostra riunione di chiusura l'altra settimana.
