Dear students,

We remind you about the launch of the 2025 programme titled "Let's change the scripts to avoid repeating the same story", open to the entire DiSSGeA community.

This initiative aims to work together on the themes of gender-based violence, discrimination, and power dynamics, with a particular focus on our study and work environments.

The programme includes two forum theater performances on consent, "Il limite ignoto"("The unknown boundary"). The first event will be held on Wednesday, 24th January, in Sala Bortolami, and is open to everyone.

Subsequently, there will be 6 workshops - 3 in Italian and 3 in English - addressed to students, PhD candidates, and post-docs. These workshops will provide a space for discussion to tackle critical situations related to gender stereotypes and discrimination, feelings of discomfort and isolation, as well as competition dynamics.

The overall objective of the programme is to promote the well-being of our community and address gender-based violence with a broad and structured perspective, going beyond a mere emergency response.

We invite everyone to actively participate in this important initiative, starting with the first event on 24th January.

Further details about the initiative, workshop themes, and the forum theater methodology are available in the attached materials, which we invite you to share through your channels.

Thank you for your participation and collaboration.

Best regards,

Andrea Caracausi and Laura Schettini, Head of Department's Delegate for Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality Policies
