We are writing to share an exciting initiative underway within our faculty: "The Roaming Agora". A student-led fanzine project dedicated to fostering free intellectual discourse and creative expression among students and professors alike.
This unofficial publication aims to provide a dynamic and inclusive platform for reflections, critiques, essays, visual pieces, and other forms of expression that contribute to the evolving academic and cultural dialogue within our community. We will facilitate contributions through both email and physical “discourse boxes” placed around the faculty, allowing for submissions that may be anonymous or attributed.
Our goals are to encourage open and interdisciplinary conversation within the academic community. Create an accessible archive of emerging ideas from the field of Mobility Studies and beyond. Sustain a culture of critical and creative engagement throughout the faculty.
We are currently seeking support from faculty members, whether through contributions, promotion, mentorship, or general guidance, to help bring "The Roaming Agora" to life and ensure its ongoing impact. Institutional backing and collaboration will be key in ensuring its visibility, sustainability, and relevance.
The Roaming Agora Team.
