Dear PhDs and Supervisors,

It is a pleasure and a honour to launch the First Call for Chapters of our PhD Series on "Next-Gen Scholarship: PhD Perspectives in Educational Research" // Emerging dynamics in educational research: PhD scholars and their journey."

This initial call for chapters (2025-26) will cover the topic "Navigating Methodological Complexities in a Postdigital World. Exploring possible future(s)". You are invited to send your abstracts (max 500 words) within January 31st, 2026. For further details on the call, please read the post published in our News site. In mid October an information meeting will be organised, in the context of an academic year opening session for 39 and 40th PhDs.

Please submit abstracts and later manuscripts to juliana.raffaghelli@unipd.it , cc PhD Supervisor (who is invited to co-author the chapter). Indicate your PhD curriculum (Pedagogical Sciences / Inclusion, Well-being, Sustainability in Education) and year of study.

Dear PhDs and Supervisors,

many thanks to those of you who have already submitted their abstracts for the First Call for Chapters of our PhD Series Next-Gen Scholarship: PhD Perspectives in Educational Research. We are very grateful for the quality and thoughtfulness of the contributions received so far.

In order to accommodate ongoing work and allow further colleagues and doctoral candidates to participate, we are pleased to extend the deadline for abstract submission to 15 February 2026 (midnight).

As a reminder, this initial call (2025–26) focuses on the theme “Navigating Methodological Complexities in a Postdigital World. Exploring possible future(s)”. Abstracts (max. 500 words) should be sent to juliana.raffaghelli@unipd.it, cc’ing the PhD Supervisor, who is invited to co-author the chapter.
