Cari studenti, care studentesse, 

vi segnalo che la Direzione Generale della Traduzione della Commissione europea organizza un evento online intitolato “Languages at work: Discover career opportunities”, che si terrà il 5 marzo 2026 (9:30–12:15 CET).

L’incontro è rivolto a chi studia lingue o traduzione, ai neolaureati e a chi è interessato a intraprendere una carriera nel settore linguistico. Durante l’evento verranno presentati il funzionamento del servizio di traduzione della Commissione europea, le opportunità di tirocinio e carriera, nonché consigli pratici per lavorare nel settore.

La partecipazione è gratuita, previa registrazione entro il 26 febbraio a mezzanotte. Di seguito, l'invito.

 Dear students, dear language professionals, 

 The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation (DGT) is pleased to invite you to its annual virtual visit – “Languages at work: Discover career opportunities”

Join us online on 5 March 2026, from 09:30 to 12:15 (CET). 

 Are you studying translation or languages, are you a recent graduate, or just starting in the language industry? Are you studying another subject, but you are interested in languages and translation? Then, this event is for you.  You will discover how the European Commission’s translation service works, learn about traineeships and career paths, and get expert tips on how to turn language skills into career opportunities. 

 Professional linguists working for the European Commission and experts from the language industry will share their experience and answer your questions. 

 During the online event, you will learn about: 

 DG Translation and how it works  

  • The wide variety of profiles combining languages with other skills 
  • Career and traineeship opportunities at the European Commission 
  • How to start and build a successful career in the translation industry. 

 The event will be held English.

 Register by 26 February until midnight.
