gentili rappresentanti delle dottorande e dei dottorandi,
su cortese segnalazione della prof.ssa Rita Minello (Consiglio Direttivo SIREF), condivido il bando relativo alla VI edizione del Premio Umberto Margiotta / SIREF 2026, promosso dalla Fondazione Umberto Margiotta e dalla SIREF – Società Italiana di Ricerca Educativa e Formativa.
Il Premio intende valorizzare opere di particolare rilievo nell’ambito della ricerca educativa e formativa, promuovendo l’eredità scientifica e culturale del prof. Umberto Margiotta.
Per l’edizione 2026 il Premio è rivolto a:
- neodottori e neodottoresse di ricerca, con tesi di dottorato;
- ricercatrici, ricercatori, professoresse e professori con articoli scientifici pubblicati su riviste scientifiche o di fascia A ANVUR nell’area pedagogica;
- ricercatrici, ricercatori, professoresse e professori con monografie a firma singola.
Sono candidabili opere pubblicate, o discusse nel caso delle tesi di dottorato, negli anni 2024 e 2025.
La scadenza per la presentazione delle candidature è fissata al 30 giugno 2026.
La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 9 settembre 2026 presso la Libera Università di Bolzano-Bozen, campus di Bressanone-Brixen, nell’ambito della XXI Summer School SIREF.

dear PhD student representatives,
upon the kind recommendation of Professor Rita Minello (SIREF Executive Board), I am pleased to share the call for the 6th edition of the Umberto Margiotta / SIREF Award 2026, promoted by the Fondazione Umberto Margiotta and SIREF – the Italian Society for Educational and Training Research.
The Award aims to preserve and promote the scientific and cultural legacy of Professor Umberto Margiotta by recognising outstanding contributions in the field of educational research.
The 2026 edition is open to:
- recent PhD graduates submitting their doctoral dissertations;
- researchers and academics affiliated with Italian or international universities submitting scientific articles published in recognised or ANVUR “Class A” journals in the field of pedagogy;
- researchers and academics affiliated with Italian or international universities submitting single-author monographs.
Eligible works must have been published, or defended in the case of doctoral dissertations, during 2024 or 2025.
Applications must be submitted by 30 June 2026.
The award ceremony will take place on 9 September 2026 at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Brixen-Bressanone campus, during the XXI SIREF Summer School.
