We are pleased to invite you to the BIBI International Research Exchange, which will take place on Thursday, 29 October 2026, from 9:00 to 11:30, in the Sala Seminari, Palazzo del Capitanio, University of Padova.

The event is part of the Open Seminar Series of the SPEF PhD Programme at the University of Padova and offers an opportunity for doctoral researchers and faculty members to engage in an international exchange on research methodologies and interdisciplinary perspectives.

The session will bring together five international research projects, their Principal Investigators and project leads for a shared methodological discussion on children's literature, informational texts, comics, participation, children's rights and ecological imagination.

The programme features projects supported by major European, international and national funding and cooperation frameworks, including an ERC Consolidator Grant, an ERC Starting Grant, a NOTED-funded international higher education project, an Erasmus+ KA220-HED Cooperation Partnership, and the BIBI national participatory research and education programme, funded by the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Department for Equal Opportunities.

Contributors include Lena Henningsen (Heidelberg University), Principal Investigator of ChinaComx; Anežka Kuzmičová (Charles University), Principal Investigator of the ERC project WONDRE; Nina Goga (Western Norway University of Applied Sciences); Giuliana Fenech (University of Malta), Principal Investigator of Seen and Heard; Justyna Deszcz-Tryhubczak (University of Wrocław), Lead Investigator for Poland; Fariba Schulz (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Lead Investigator for Germany; and Marnie Campagnaro (University of Padova), Principal Investigator of BIBI.

The exchange offers an opportunity to explore different methodological approaches, discuss ongoing research and consider new possibilities for international scholarly collaboration.

The working language will be English.

Further information about the BIBI International Research and Partnership Forum is available in the attached poster.

We warmly invite doctoral students and colleagues to join us for this international research exchange.
