Dear PhD Students,
A month has already passed since the beginning of our training program!
We hope this time has been inspiring and that you are finding your footing with the operational and content-related aspects of your research and research training work.
With this message, and following up on the first activity launched by Prof. Serbati, the coordination team would like to extend an invitation (as previously shared with the representatives on 22/11) to join working groups that serve the PhD program. These activities are highly formative in nature and will be recognized in your monthly and annual reporting as part of your engagement. This commitment will also be certified by the coordination team.

The activities include:
- Training Program: Support for module leaders and the coordination team in classroom tutoring activities (e.g., scheduling, opening and closing sessions, managing the Moodle platform).
- PhD Annual Discussions: Assisting the faculty working group with organising presentations, discussants, and logistical arrangements for the sessions.
- Monte Ortone Steering Committee: Planning the event, from catering and accommodation logistics to communication with faculty, and structuring the program with the respective coordinators and presenters.
- Florence Steering Committee: Similar responsibilities as the Monte Ortone event.
- News & Storytelling: Assisting the coordination team with publishing updates (PhD activities, published research, best practices, etc.) on the new PhD program website.
- Language Support (Italian Students): providing support from native Italian speakers to non-native colleagues for various daily tasks, career management, potential work activities, and communication with administrative offices.
- Paper/Data Club: Supporting a group that will meet monthly to read and analyse papers for methodological insights or to work on data analysis.
The activity with Prof. Serbati is included, but you may write (or have already written) directly to her if you prefer. Please note that each activity can accommodate a maximum of 4 to 5 participants. In case of multiple preferences, priority will be given to those who registered first.

Care dottorande, cari dottorandi,
È già passato un mese dall'inizio del nostro percorso formativo! Speriamo che questo tempo trascorso sia stato motivante e che vi stiate orientando su tutti i fronti operativi e di contenuto del vostro lavoro di ricerca e di formazione alla ricerca.
Con questo messaggio, e facendo seguito alla prima attività lanciata dalla prof.ssa Serbati, il coordinamento desidera trasmettere (come anticipato alle rappresentanti in data 22/11) l'invito a formar parte di gruppi di lavoro al servizio del dottorato.
Le suddette attività hanno di per sé un valore altamente formativo e andranno riconosciute nel reporting mensile ed annuo come una parte del vostro impegno. Tale impegno verrà ulteriormente certificato dal coordinamento.

Le attività sono:
- Attività Formativa / Training Programe- Accompagnamento dei responsabili di modulo e del coordinamento per le attività di tutor d'aula (calendario, apertura e chiusura, gestione della piattaforma Moodle)
- PhD Annual Discussions -Supporto al gruppo di lavoro docente per l'organizzazione delle presentazioni, dei discussant e della logistica delle sessioni.
- Monte Ortone Steering Committee - Organizzazione dell'evento, da aspetti materiali di vitto e alloggio fino alla comunicazione con i docenti e di strutturazione del programma con i relativi responsabili e presentatori)
- Florence Steering Committee - Come per Monte Ortone News & Storytelling - Supporto al coordinamento nella pubblicazione di novità (attività dei dottorandi, ricerche pubblicate, buone pratiche, ecc. sul nuovo sito del dottorato) Language Support (Italian Students) -
- Supporto da nativi italiani a colleghi non nativi per varie attività della vita quotidiana, la gestione della carriera, di attività lavorativa eventuale, di comunicazione con gli uffici amministrativi.
- Paper/Data Club - Supporto ad un gruppo che si troverà mensilmente a leggere paper per l'analisi metodologica oppure ad analizzare dati
L'attività indicata dalla Prof.ssa Serbati è inclusa nel form, ma se lo preferite potete contattarla in modo diretto come da lei suggerito,
Vi preghiamo di considerare che ciascuna attività riceve un massimo di 4 a 5 persone. Se ci fossero più scelte, si preferiranno coloro che hanno aderito per primi.
