🧩  Paper Club – Workshop on Critical Reading of Scientific Literature

General Information

The Paper Club is a workshop dedicated to the critical reading, analysis, and discussion of scientific articles, designed to support doctoral students in developing their research, academic writing, and peer-review skills.

The activity aims to strengthen participants’ ability to understand the structure and argumentative logic of an article, identify its theoretical and methodological foundations, and critically reflect on scientific publishing practices.

The programme includes introductory training sessions and periodic group discussions on selected articles, conducted within a framework of collaborative and peer learning.

Activity period: November – July.

🌱 Well-being Group (Space for Dialogue and Reflection on Doctoral Life)

General Information

The Well-being Group is a space for dialogue, reflection, and support dedicated to doctoral students, with the aim of promoting personal and relational well-being throughout the PhD journey.

The initiative provides opportunities for peer dialogue, guided by academic staff and tutors, to share experiences and strategies for managing stress, work–life balance, and research motivation.

The meetings alternate between discussion sessions, interactive workshops, and in-depth explorations of topics related to academic well-being, self-care, and the sustainability of research life.
