We would like to inform you that the Call for Abstracts for the Emerging Researchers’ Conference (ERC) is now open. The conference will take place in Tampere, Finland, from 17 to 18 August 2026.
All up-to-date information about the conference, participation procedures, and the call for abstracts is available on the official website (https://eera-ecer.de/conferences/ecer-2026-tampere/emerging-researchers-conference). We would like to highlight that the ERC is organised by the Emerging Researchers’ Group of EERA (European Educational Research Association, https://eera-ecer.de/) and is specifically aimed at doctoral researchers and early career researchers. The conference offers an important opportunity to present your research in an international setting, get constructive feedback, and take part in discussion and networking activities designed specifically for emerging researchers.
Several presentation formats are available, including paper presentations, posters, and ignite talks. Abstracts must be submitted via the ECER submission system (Conftool) by selecting the Emerging Researchers’ Group (ERG) as the primary network and indicating an alternative thematic network.
The deadline for abstract submission is 31 January 2025.
