In this newsletter I want to update you about some opportunities and events that we are selecting for you.

I want to highlight to you this organisation that is Padova Base “Open Gates”, it has a Migrants & Asylum Seekers Helpdesk for the ones that might be interested in this field. You can check the opportunity of internship here
Just as a quick reminder: You start the procedure for internship documentation and as well you can search for internship opportunities by the Career Service portal of the University, here you have the link, in the “training project section”.

Outgoing grants for DiSSGeA are out!
The call is now open to apply for grants to cover costs of mobility for a wide range of activities, from BIPs to internships. All information is available con the DiSSGeA Department website and on the Moodle platform (Outgoing Call 2026 page).
The call has two application windows, for activities starting between October 1, 2025, and
October 31, 2026 applications must be submitted by May 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM CEST

I want to thank the students who answered to the survey “International exchange experience around the world" a next session will be sent to the students that are currently in International mobility at the end of June 2026, your participation to this informal survey is very helpful to support also your colleagues in guiding their decisions in a possible destination for international mobility.
You will find in the next weeks in the home moodle page of Local Development at Mobility programmes (eg. Erasmus+ for Studies) them uploaded in the following padlet map that you find as well in the above moodle page.

Tomorrow the new call for Tutor Junior will open, A.Y. 2026-2027
Online application submission on Uniweb: from 5 to 25 May 2026
You can find here all the information here for applying to it! There are two types of Tutor, one that works for projects of the University, for example for only International students and another one for a specific Master Degree ( that’s my case).
A good knowledge of Italian is asked and is going to be evaluated during the interview.
So if you are interested in this position and to understand what does it mean to be a Tutor Junior for Local Development you can always reach out to me to my Tutor Junior email: tutorjunior.lettere@unipd.it or on every Tuesdays from 4 pm to 6 pm at my open meetings, you can follow the updates on the moodle page of Tutor Junior in the section “DISSGeA” where you find also the zoom link for the meetings.
