Dear students,
I am writing to let you know that, as of 30 September, I am no longer the Tutor Junior for the Master’s Degree in Local Development.
For any future questions or communications addressed to the Tutor Junior, please contact only the dedicated email address directly: tutor.junior.lettere@unipd.it listing Local Development in the Object of the email. Further communication will also follow regarding the appointment of the new Tutor Junior for Local Development.
After two and a half years in this role, I would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you and goodbye.
It has been a real pleasure to be part of the Master’s programme and to work alongside you. During these years, we have worked on many different things: from developing the internship database and reviving the Padlet map for students’ international experiences, to supporting students with internships, documentation, Erasmus opportunities, and communication with the various university offices.
I was also particularly happy that, last semester, we were able to deliver the Virtual Skills Training, which was a great experience to share with you, some news about it are coming in the next weeks on the Linkedin group of LD.
The role has been very interesting and rewarding, although at times also challenging, and I am grateful for everything I have learned and for all the experiences we have shared. As I am now graduating myself, it feels like the right moment to close this chapter and move on from my role as Tutor Junior.
I would like to sincerely thank all the students, the teachers i collaborated with, the Head of the Master’s programme Professor Chiara Rabbiosi, and the Secretariat for the collaboration, trust, and support throughout these years.
I leave you here my Linkedin page and also this useful page on intership opportunities, register yourself to its newsletter!
A quick tip: for searching opportunities for Summer Schools, online free programs, internship use your network, follow the people that are working in your field of interest on Linkedin for exemple, also give a careful look to the online database for internships that you find in the moodle page of Intenrships and our linkedin local development group, and finally thecareer service portal that you can search both for internship and for possible jobs. From Linkedin i was able to find a lot of interesting opportunities as well speak with your friends share your ideas in this way you can find opportunities that are matching with your interests. Finally the University provides also counselling for alumni, give a careful look at this page.
It has been a pleasure to be your Tutor Junior, and I wish you all the very best for your studies, internships, international experiences, and whatever comes next.
Thank you, and all the best!
Vincenzo Pono
